Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3rd June 2026 — How NukeRP handles your information.
NukeRP is a community Garry's-Mod-style game server running on s&box. We are not a large company and we collect as little about you as we can. We are not legally bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988, but we choose to follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as a matter of good practice.
1. Who We Are
"NukeRP", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operators of the NukeRP game server and this website. If you have any question about your privacy or want to make a request about your data, contact us at nukerpaus@gmail.com or through our Discord.
2. What We Collect
We only collect what we need to deliver your purchases and run the server. Specifically:

| Your name and email on the payment card | Collected by our payment processor, Stripe, when you check out. This is held by Stripe — we can see it in our Stripe dashboard but it never passes through or is stored on our own systems. |
| Purchase details (what you bought, the amount, and any custom title or message you typed) | Collected at checkout so we can deliver the right product and, for tips/custom items, fulfil them manually. |
| Your leaderboard choice | At checkout you choose whether to appear on the public donor leaderboard. We respect that choice. |
| Technical data (e.g. IP address) | Automatically processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) and Stripe for security, fraud prevention and to make the site work. We do not use any analytics or advertising trackers. |
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking. The only cookie we set is described in Section 5.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Deliver the ranks, in-game cash, items and titles you purchase.
- Verify eligibility for certain purchases (for example, confirming you already hold VIP before selling a VIP+ upgrade).
- Keep you signed in while you browse the store.
- Display the donor leaderboard — only for players who choose to appear on it.
- Notify our staff team (via a private Discord channel) that a purchase was made, so we can fulfil manual orders and resolve any failed deliveries.
- Prevent fraud and keep the site and server running.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who We Share It With
To run the store we pass information to a small number of trusted third parties, each only for the purpose described:

Overseas disclosure: some of these providers (including Stripe, Steam, Discord and Vercel) store and process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the store you acknowledge this transfer.
5. Cookies
We use a single cookie, nukerp_session. It is created
only when you sign in with Steam and it stores a signed token
containing your SteamID, Steam name and avatar so you stay signed in.
It is marked HttpOnly, Secure and
SameSite=Lax, and it expires automatically after 24
hours. This is a functional cookie — it is not used for tracking or
advertising. If you do not sign in with Steam, no cookie is set.
6. How Long We Keep It
We keep as little as possible:
- The sign-in cookie is deleted after 24 hours, or when you sign out.
- We do not run our own customer database — purchase records live with Stripe and the donor leaderboard is generated live from your Stripe purchases.
- Stripe, Discord, Vercel and DXRP retain data according to their own policies and legal obligations.
7. Your Choices & Rights
In line with the Australian Privacy Principles, you can:
- Stay off the leaderboard. Choose "No, keep me anonymous" at checkout and your purchase will not appear publicly.
- Ask what we hold about you. Email us and we'll tell you what information about you we can access.
- Ask us to remove your data. You can ask us to remove your SteamID from the leaderboard and your purchase notifications from our Discord. We'll action reasonable requests as soon as we can. Note that some records (such as payment records held by Stripe) may need to be retained to meet legal and tax obligations.
- Sign out. Use the "Sign out" link in the navigation bar to clear your session cookie at any time.

8. Children
NukeRP is a community game and some of our players are under 18. We do not knowingly collect more information than is needed to deliver a purchase, and we never sell personal information. If you are under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before making any purchase. If you believe a child has provided us information you'd like removed, contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Security
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe over an encrypted connection — we never see or store your full card details. Our sign-in tokens are cryptographically signed and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we handle.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Significant changes may also be announced on our Discord.
